DECISION GUIDE LOKAL PARTNER DELIVERY

Regional delivery comparison

Choose the operating team, then check the map.

For US and Australian agencies comparing offshore or nearshore delivery without reducing whole labour markets to an hourly-rate table.

Each region contains excellent and weak providers, many cities, different disciplines and very different commercial models. Geography affects overlap and contracts; it does not replace supplier diligence.

The decision in plain English

Is the Philippines, India or Eastern Europe best for white-label delivery?

No region is universally best. Compare the specific provider’s operator seniority, work samples, communication overlap, account protection, QA, continuity and contract. Geography should then inform time-zone coverage, market context and legal or tax review—not stand in for competence.

The labour markets are large; that tells you very little about your team

Official sources show substantial digital workforces in the Philippines, India and across the European Union. Those totals establish depth, not the capability of the people assigned to your account.

Ask for the named delivery structure, review path and actual artefacts. A country-level reputation cannot complete a technical ticket or protect your client.

Australian buyers need the contract to follow the work

Australian government guidance notes that international laws may apply when work is performed offshore and recommends relevant legal advice. Supplier checks, privacy, data access, tax and contractual remedies belong in procurement.

LOKAL’s own model uses Sydney commercial oversight with Manila delivery capability. That sentence is more useful than implying all execution happens in Australia.

Use these tests

Criteria that survive the sales call

Named team

Review who will perform and check the work, their relevant artefacts and their real availability.

Working overlap

Design decisions, escalation and handoff around the buyer’s actual meeting and deadline pattern.

Account and data rules

Put solicitation, access, storage, case permission and transition obligations in the agreement.

Commercial resilience

Check currency, tax, invoicing, continuity and remedies with appropriate professional advice.

Side by side

Where each option is genuinely useful

Philippines

A substantial IT-BPM market with strong English-language service operations and APAC overlap.

Best fit: Providers whose named team, communication model and service evidence fit the account.

  • US overlap may require a designed shift or asynchronous handoff
  • Provider quality varies materially
  • Offshore contract and data rules still need review

India

A very large IT and IT-enabled-services market spanning deep technical and operational capabilities.

Best fit: Buyers who find the right specialist firm and can diligence its actual delivery layer.

  • Scale says nothing about the assigned operator
  • Time-zone and communication design vary by provider
  • Commercial models range from specialist teams to high-volume capacity

Eastern Europe

A shorthand covering multiple countries and delivery markets rather than one uniform region.

Best fit: Buyers prioritising a particular technical speciality, language or time-zone relationship available from a specific provider.

  • Country, contract and market conditions differ
  • An EU-wide employment source cannot score an Eastern European vendor
  • US and Australian overlap depends on the actual location

Read the edges

Limitations

  • The regional descriptions are deliberately high level and should not be used to score individual people or firms.
  • The Eurostat source covers the European Union; it is included to show why “Eastern Europe” must be unpacked, not as a market-size proxy for the region.

Questions worth settling before you choose

Which region is cheapest?

A defensible comparison needs the same scope, seniority, review, communication and contract. Country-level hourly averages hide those differences and can create a false saving.

Does LOKAL deliver from Australia?

LOKAL has Sydney commercial oversight and Manila delivery capability. The scope names where responsibility and execution sit for the account.

Is offshore delivery safe for client data?

Safety depends on systems, access, contract, people and controls—not geography alone. Obtain relevant legal advice for the data and markets involved.

Pressure-test it on real work

Bring the account that is making the decision difficult

Tell us what has been sold, what your team can carry and where the risk sits. If LOKAL is the wrong operating model, we will say so before access changes hands.
